At north end of Peel Forest Rd turn left on to Blandswood Rd. then right before the ford "Park" by DOC sign and toilet. Walk 500m up road to start of Deer Spur Track. Continue along Deer Spur Track until the bench ("AX137SEAT2018"). Walk 100m along track from bench to GPS point "AX137TRACKLEAVE2018" (E1458165, N5139620), then follow a bearing of 173 degrees for 75m to line start. Plot is 120m from linestart at 193 degrees, A small ridge can be followed for most of this section. Scrub-bash before dropping into low-statured broadleaf forest.
